Week 58: Meet Blade from Fort Hall Indian Reservation

Hey Guys!

Well another week has flown by!!!! They just seem to be getting quicker and quicker. BUT it has been a great week!

First off, Congratulations to ASHLEY DOWELL on getting her mission call to Columbus Ohio!!! She is going to be a great missionary!!!

Secondly, we met a new investigator this week. His name is Blade. He lives out on the Indian Reservation and he really wants to get baptized. The Sister missionaries in the other half of the stake, Sister's Barnett and Gray, taught and baptized his cousin and we met him and he has a baptismal date for March 22. He reads the Book of Mormon, has come to church, and really has a desire to do what is right. He is 16 and a sophomore in high school. He knows a lot of people in the ward he has been going to because he played football with a lot of the guys. He's awesome!

Gary and Krystie have been doing well. Krystie is recovering from surgery and Gary has been staying busy with work. We met with them yesterday and we reset their baptismal date for March 29. They are great and are working on overcoming their addictions.

Oh Elder Kolb and I are also in a Church Play! We are in a play of Mulan! I am playing Yao and Elder Kolb is Ling. We get to sing and dance and have a war scene! It's pretty cool. A lot of Investigators participating and having fun!

We have also met some other people that we are teaching as well. We will let you know more when things happen. Today we are going to do our chores, and then play sports! And then we will go proselyte.

The Camel stayed in this week, he wasn't feeling too well. We believe it was from the drawer full of candy that he got into and devoured. He has been feeling better but still out of commission.

I just want you to know of my Testimony of this Gospel. Everyone I KNOW this is true. I know what I’m doing is what God wants me to do. I know that the true Church of Jesus Christ was restored by Joseph Smith so that we can be together with our families for forever.

Love
Elder Rash
