This week was a GREAT week!!! :) We were able to witness 2 baptisms! :) Tekerra and her cousin Madison. We'll talk about that here in a little bit.
The weather has actually been super nice here! :) It's been in the 40 and 50's all week. All the snow is gone and its been sunny and nice! Also this is the week we are performing MULAN with 11th ward. It's a lot of fun and there have been tons of missionary opportunities because of it. Elder Kolb and I get along great! Haha in the Play I get to pick him up in the air and throw him to the ground! It's a lot of fun and he pushes off the ground so he gets HIGH in the air!!! We'll see if we can get a picture of it!
Elder Taylor is in my Zone. He's a funny guy! We get along really well. (this is for the sake of my mom. She asked.) Oh Congratulations to Ryland and Devon for the Musical and Volleyball!
On another note. Daylight savings has started... We sprung forward which means we had to wake up an hour early. NOT FUN... This is why I love Arizona so much. NO DAYLIGHT SAVING. It’s silly.
Well the baptism this Saturday was awesome! Tekerra and Madi were really prepared and ready for it. The sister missionaries had been teaching Madi but she recently moved in with Tekerra so we began teaching them both. They came to church and were confirmed by their grandfather and uncle and we were asked to stand in the circle. It was such a spiritual experience. I felt the spirit so strongly and these two girls were just beaming from ear to ear afterwards!
Gary and Krystie have been out of town a lot. But Krystie and her Daughter came to church this Sunday. We were so excited to see them. Unfortunately Krystie got really sick about half way through and had to go home. We are trying to go over and visit with them.
Wes: Wes is doing really well! In fact we were talking to the stake president and he approved to give Wes a calling!!! Wes is going to be the Elder's Quorum Secretary. We are going to go talk to him this week and see how he feels.
Blade: Blade is doing really well also. He went on the Teacher's Quorum overnight campout. He goes to mutual and he came to church yesterday too! We are meeting with him tonight. There may be a little snag with him Baptism though. We just got word from our Bishop that Blade is on Probation. We will have to see tonight where he is at in it and how we can help.
Storm: Storm came to church on Sunday as well. She still is confused about whether to go to her own ward or the ward her best friend is in. We've visited with her and we get along really well. We are going over this week to answer any of her questions. Oh Plus she is enrolled in Seminary now!
Alyssa and Alora: We went and visited them last night! They are doing really well. This week was a hard week for them. Their brother just got diagnosed with Leukemia. It's been hard on them but they are handling it really well. They are in the Play of MULAN as well.
Well this week should be another great week we hope! I'll let you know. I pray for you guys and love you! Hope all is going well.
