Dear Family and Friends,
This week has been a crazy week! We have definitely stayed busy the WHOLE week! So let's talk about it...
First off I’m answering a question from my mom, if none of you find this interesting( I don't blame you) skip to the next paragraph. My mom asked me how often we have Zone Conference's. We have Zone Conference's every Quarter. So every 2 transfers we'll have Conference. This is a good opportunity for President to see the missionaries and to help them out in whatever way he can. The transfer after Zone Conference we also have Interviews with President so he can check up on us personally to see how we are managing missionary life. A "Zone" is a group of missionaries (about 20) in a geographical area, usually a city or part of a city. In a Zone you usually have 2 districts (about 10 missionaries) and each district has a district leader who helps all the missionaries and collects information about their area and who they are teaching. Zone Leaders collect that information from the Districts and give them to the Assistants to the President who then relay it to President. So all in all it’s just a chain of command.
Now that that is out of the way. This week was really fun! We had our 11th ward play which went really well! We performed Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. It was good to perform again. I guess a Pantomime is just a play with Audience participation, we were able to get heckled by the audience and we could yell back at them. We had great turn outs at all the performances. It did get recorded so I will see if I can get my hands on a copy of it and send it home. We had a lot of investigators and Less Active members come and they said they really enjoyed it. During the last night of the play I was supposed to fall to my knees when I messed up in throwing a rope to Mulan and Shang, so I fell to my knees but hit my knee wrong so it got really swollen and purple. My knee is still bright purple and tender.
Gary and Krystie: They are doing well spiritually but are running on low physically. Krystie has been sick a lot recently and Gary has been on the road a lot, this is his busy season. They were at church yesterday which was nice to see them. We care about them so much and it stinks when we can't see them. We got an awesome text this morning from Gary saying thanks for all that we've done and to not give up on them, they are still preparing for March 29 to be baptized. Please pray for them.
Blade: We are meeting with Blade tonight to teach him. He wasn't able to come to church yesterday because he was helping his grandma do something. He is a good kid and wants to get baptized.
Storm: Storm is awesome! We went over last night and visited with her. We were all kind of tired but we had some good laughs and she came to a fireside last night as well. She is only waiting for her mom to soften up before she gets baptized.
Alyssa and Alora: They came to church yesterday!!!! We had to go to their house and wake them up! BUT they came! And they enjoyed it. They loved the 11th ward play, did we mention they were in it! They are great girls.
Art: Art is doing well. We always have interesting conversations with him. He came to support his step daughters and us in the play and he really enjoyed it.
Well I hope this email finds you guys happy and warm. The weather has been really nice here, in the 50's and 40's most days. Today it’s gotten a little colder and windier though. I pray for you guys and love you all.
