Hey this has to be quick because we are tagging along
with the Zone Leaders today while the sisters have our Car so they dictate our
schedule! BUT I do want to tell you we had a GREAT week this week!
This week we had tons of appointments with many
investigators and were able to get new investigators as well.
Connor: He is 9 and his older brother got baptized.
This week on Wednesday we set a baptismal date with him! It was really awesome
how it happened. So we had a lesson with him about the Restoration of the
Gospel. We then invited him to be baptized, he was a little nervous about it.
So to help him be ok with it I offered to have a Light Saber Duel to the Death!
He was so excited! Hahah So I used a Darth Maul Light saber and he used a Luke
Skywalker blade! It was a well fought battle but eventually I won!!! We had a
ton of fun! So he is really excited now for his baptism!
Gary and Krystie got back from Boise. Krystie's
Surgery went really well, and now she is recovering. Please keep praying for
her that she can recover quickly! We have stopped by and visited with Gary for
a little bit but he is tired as well. He left yesterday for his work again but
he should be back on Friday.
Sierra has been in Las Vegas this week so we haven't
been able to visit with her but we will set something up for this week.
One of our new investigators, John, had us over for
Dinner. We had really good Hamburgers and talked about the Gospel. He is a very
analytical man. His wife is a member. The ward has done a great job of
fellowshipping him and he is involved in the ward play of Mulan they are
putting on. We have another appointment with him today, we are really excited.
We have had a lot of fun this week. We went on exchanges
with Elder Vincent, our District Leader and it was a lot of fun! We sang Les
Mis songs, and made funny videos, and also went and played Soccer with a ton of
his Investigators!
I also took my little Camel around and showed him the
Highlights of Blackfoot. On our little journey we saw many cool things. I will
send some pictures every week of our adventures!
Well I love you guys and hope everything is going
well! I pray for you guys every night!
