Well this week has had some crazy news....
First off.... I will no longer be in Idaho Falls as of
June 5th. Transfers calls came and I’m being transferred..... OK I’ll tell you
where I’m going! Pocatello West Stake. And guess what...? Elder Malau' Ulu is
going to be my zone leader! I will miss Idaho Falls and all the friends and
family and investigators that I’ve met. But I know that Pocatello is where the
Lord wants me. My new companion will be an elder Porter. It’s another biking
area! Elder Standage is going to be going to Ririe. Our area is getting white
washed... So we are spending time getting all our investigators ready for TWO
new missionaries instead of ONE....
We haven't met with Michael this week. He's been
having some problems and doesn't want to talk about it... We are planning to
meet with him soon.
Jeszyka is getting ready to get a job and get some
money so she can take care of her daughter she is fighting for.
Emma is still reading and wanting to get baptized.
We had a neat experience today that I’d like to
share.....
This morning as we were getting ready for the day we
had a knock on our door. Which for missionaries doesn't happen. We answered it
and there was a woman standing there. She seemed very distraught. She told us
that she was a member(less active) and that she was in desperate need of a
blessing. We immediately got ready and walked down to the church to give her a
blessing. She told us how she was struggling and asked us to heal her of it. We
were kind of taken aback but we said we would give her a blessing. We laid our
hands on her head and Elder Standage gave her a blessing of healing and peace.
Afterwards she felt a TON better. She also told us that her friend Jenine (an
investigator of ours that has been dogging us) has been struggling and that we
should try to help. We said we try to help her but if she doesn't want us over
we can't do very much. As we were shopping later today we got a call from Jenine.
She said she really wants us to come over and give her a blessing!!! I know
that miracles really do happen! IT was so strange how it happened but a miracle
DID happen!
Well I don't have much time today.
