Week 69: Mother's Day Was Great

This week was really good! Mother's Day was great. Getting to see the Family is always a plus.

Well this letter is going to be really short for 2 reasons.

1) I pretty much told my family everything when we skyped yesterday.
2) I am going to Idaho Falls today to do some Needed shopping so I need to conserve time.
3) Number's 1 & 2 pretty much describe the most interesting things that have happened this past week. Besides one thing...

We had a baptism this past Saturday!!! :) Well technically we didn't because he is 8 years old, but we taught him and pretty much made sure he got baptized when he needed to. We literally stressed more about Ryker's Baptism than any other baptism I’ve ever had. He lives in our ward but was going to another Stake. So we had to coordinate with that stake, which was hard when we never got responses, set up the program, and make sure it all ran as smoothly as possible. I compare it to having to Juggle Knives... Blindfolded. So we thought we had everything prepared, the program was done, everyone had been called to help, the family was prepared, SHOWTIME. So we show up about 30 minutes early to get Ryker all set up with Clothes and everything... AND THERE IS A BAPTISM ALREADY GOING ON!!!! Which we weren't told about. Ok ok... we could handle this... It looked like they were wrapping up so we'd just wait in the foyer then go in.... And then some Hispanic families start showing up... I had no idea Ryker had Hispanic family members... And then the Spanish Branch President shows up... I'm pretty sure Ryker doesn't know Him... Then it hits me... THERE IS ANOTHER BAPTISM SCHEDULED WHEN RYKER'S IS!!!!!!!!!!!!! So luckily this isn't my first time having a baptism go NUTS! So we asked the Branch President if they could start in the Baptismal Font room, and we would start in the Relief Society room, then after the Baptism we would switch. He said sure so it all worked out in the end. And people wonder why I’m losing my hair! hahah

But all in all it's been a good week. Our Investigators are doing well, The weather is warming up, and our wards are happy. Life is good. :) Well I love you guys and hope all is well! My dad told me yesterday that this blog gets viewed all over the world. So I’m assuming my friends serving mission's read this blog. Or I could just be super Popular all over the world ;) hahah Just Kidding.

Love
Elder Rash
