Week 90: No letter this past week due to computer crash

We did not get a letter from Caleb this past week because his computer crashed right before he was going to send it...or so he says. We are planning to take all of his weekly letters that have been posted in his blog and make him a book that will serve as a mission journal of sorts for him. Hopefully we get an extra long letter tomorrow.

As parents of missionaries we are so very excited for Caleb to be home. We got a letter this week from Caleb's mission president advising us of his flight information. His flight will arrive into Phoenix Sky Harbor on 12/17/14 at 10:14 am. These two years have flown by. For Mistie the first year was painfully slow but the 2nd year has flown by for her too.

Caleb has elected to come home mid transfer so that he can start school at MCC and not miss out on a semester. Caleb left a boy but he is definately coming home a man. I have seen many areas of growth in Caleb as he has matured. The life experience that his mission has provided him will serve him well the remainder of his life. He has one and a half transfers left before he will come home in 66 days. He is hoping that the last 3 weeks of his mission he will be allowed to be a traveling Elder visiting various missionaries around the mission and training them but we will see what his mission president wants him to do.

Caleb still is contemplating becoming a police officer but has also recently expressed an interest in becoming an attorney. I am sure he will make wise choices as he figures out what he wants to do in the future. For now we cannot wait for our early Christmas present. Stay tuned for a few more letters from Caleb before he comes home.
