Week 96: Two More Baptisms

Dear Family and Friends

First off! Happy Holidays! It's crazy that they are here again! Man the time flies! Secondly I want to apologize for my lack of writing lately. It's been very hectic and I haven't had time to do much of anything! These past few weeks have been busy as ever but a lot of good things have happened so let's get to it...

Well the biggest news is probably that we had 2 baptisms this past week! Matthew and Nathan got baptized!!! It was so awesome! To see the transformation in these kids was incredible! I've told you before that these kids had some anger issues and even though they still do, they have changed so much. It was a small baptism, not to many people there but the spirit was so strong. Their mother, who never really participated much in the lessons or coming to church cried openly at the baptism. Elder Wauneka Baptized Nathan and their fellowshipper, Brother Collins, baptized Matthew. I stood in as witness. So this baptism didn't go off without a hiccup though, We called about 2 hours early to make sure the font was getting filled, good thing we called, because it wasn't. The High Counselor had been so busy with work he'd forgotten to tell the font people about our baptism. So immediately we went to go fill it up. By the time they stepped into the font, the water had only risen 2 feet. So both Matthew and Nathan were baptized in 2 feet of water. Surprisingly Both Elder Wauneka and Brother Collins baptized them first try.

Also we had Thanksgiving!! So Elder Wauneka wanted to go to Ammon, and I didn't so I went with another elder to Driggs, while he and another elder went to Ammon. So I went to Driggs for the first time and it was really cool up there. It snowed and we spent the day playing games and playing in the snow.

So this week we had MLC as well. This was my last MLC and it was a great experience to see all the new missionaries coming into the leadership meeting with so many great ideas and motivation.

Well Family that's all I got for today. There will be more next week! Love you guys!

Love Elder Rash
